Our fee structure, process, and timeline

Fees

We require a $2500 retainer to begin the search process. Our bill rate is anywhere from 25-30% of first year compensation, which includes bonuses if applicable. We have a one-year guarantee on all of our placements.

Why use a retained search firm

In times of change, a crucial executive-level appointment can mean the difference between success and catastrophe. In the past, your company may have kept this critical search in-house, leveraged its own network, or hired a contingency recruiter. But, the candidate might not have been vetted correctly and it did not work out because he/she was not a good cultural fit for the organization. You now know that a bad hire to a crucial position can have detrimental consequences that can take much time and expense to recover from.

It is important for our clients to know that to find the right candidate or candidates in some cases can take time. The candidates that we approach are not even looking for a new job and have to be sold on why they would leave their current position to work for your company. This involves us selling your company and the position in the best light and them talking to their family, friends, and colleagues before even sending us a resume.

We are skilled in knowing what candidates seek in order to leave a job and how to entice them to have a conversation with you the client. The candidates that we recruit are mostly from your competitors and you will not find these candidates on job boards because they are simply not looking.

Once the contract is signed, a phone consultation is scheduled with the client and their team to get a thorough understanding of the open position and the culture of the organization. A job specification is emailed to us or we will put one together for the client.
